LONDON – Shares in Active Biotech AB (NASDAQ STOCKHOLM:ACTI) slumped by 60 percent to close at SEK10.90 (US$1.27) on Thursday after the company announced its lead product, tasquinimod, had failed in a 1,200-patient phase III prostate cancer trial funded by partner Ipsen SA.
