California Not Looking to Feds for Satisfaction

Tired of getting no satisfaction from the federal government, California is rolling out its own drug safety legislation to increase the oversight of sterile compounded drugs. The state’s latest reaction to the stonewalling in Washington is a bill, signed into law last week, that requires additional licensing and inspections of pharmacies that compound sterile drugs.
