Clinical trial to test cancer vaccine for glioma patients

A study in mice suggests it may be possible to develop a vaccine to protect against recurrence of glioma. Researchers in Germany hope to begin phase I trials of the vaccine in early 2015. When mice were given the candidate vaccine, it induced an appropriate immune response in the animals, and the experimental tumors used for the model stopped growing.
