Prostate cancer is a diagnosis that is made almost a quarter of a million times annually in the U.S. And it is a diagnosis that can spell many things. At the shallow end, it is a disease that is best treated by not treating it, the strategy known as watchful waiting, and one that perhaps would be more accurately named something other than cancer.
