G8 Dementia Summit to call for more research, greater collaboration

LONDON – Researchers, pharma and biotech companies, leaders of the World Health Organization and health and science ministers from the G8 countries are meeting in London on Wednesday to set out a global plan of action for dealing with dementia. At this first Group of Eight (G8) Dementia Summit, government and industry will discuss how to coordinate and shape research, stimulate greater investment and accelerate drug development.
