Therapies Target Master Regulator of Blood Vessel Growth

LONDON A new understanding of the molecular control of angiogenesis the process by which new blood vessels grow could lead to new therapies aimed at blocking tumor growth. ELTD1, whose role has been identified by a team at the University of Oxford and a multinational group of collaborators, appears to be crucial for angiogenesis, along with a group of other molecules, which remain to be explored further.
