Waiting on Congress for Track & Trace Could Be a Gamble

Drugmakers that are doing nothing to prepare for California's track-and-trace requirements in the hope that Congress passes legislation to preempt the state law could be taking a big gamble. The California law requires half of a drugmaker's prescription products to be serialized at the unit-of-sale level by Jan. 1, 2015.
