Mojgan Lefebvre has joined bioMérieux (Marcy L'etoile, France) as new chief information officer. Lefebvre will take leadership both for management of information systems and research & development information technologies. Before joining bioMérieux, Lefebvre was international CIO for TeleTech Holdings. bioMérieux is a diagnostics group that specializes in the field of in vitro diagnostics for clinical and industrial applications.

Jean Pierre Tirouflet has joined BioSystems International (Evry, France) as CEO. Prior to joining BSI, Tirouflet was CEO and chairman of the French specialty chemicals company Rhodia. BioSystems International is a biotechnology company focused on monoclonal antibody mediated biomarker discovery and diagnostics development.

Thomas Feldman has joined Point Biomedical (San Carlos, California) as president/CEO, and member of the board of directors. Prior to joining Point, Feldman was president/CBO at Cotherix. Point Biomedical is developing technology platforms for imaging applications.

Alan Moses, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Novo Nordisk (Princeton, New Jersey). Moses was formerly senior VP and chief medical officer at the Joslin Diabetes Center and joined Novo Nordisk in April of 2004 as associate vice president of medical affairs and since then has also assumed responsibility for clinical research in diabetes. Norvo Nordisk specializes in diabetes care.
