• Robert Gontarek was named COO of Diagnostic Health (DHC; Birmingham, Alabama), effective May 19. Gontarek most recently was executive VP of operations for CBIZ Medical Management Professionals. DHC is an independent provider of diagnostic imaging services.
• Bernie O'Rourke was named executive VP/COO of InSight Health Services Holdings Corp. (Lake Forest, California). O'Rourke has been senior VP/GM, Eastern Division of InSight since March 2006. InSight is a provider of diagnostic imaging services.
• Jay Moyes was named CFO of XDx (Brisbane, California). He previously was VP of finance/CFO at Myriad Genetics. XDx is a molecular diagnostics company focused on noninvasive gene expression tests for the monitoring of immune-mediated conditions.
• StatSure Diagnostic Systems (New York) said that effective July 1, Steve Peltzman, CEO/chairman, and D. Bruce Pattison, president/COO and director, have resigned. Peltzman and Pattison have indicated that they will enter into consulting agreements with StatSure. In addition, Richard Woodrich has resigned as a director. The board elected Moishe Bodner, currently VP of the company, as CEO/director, and Leo Ehrlich, current CFO and director, was elected president/COO, effective July 1. StatSure makes immunoassay tests for the detection of sexually transmitted and other infectious diseases.
