Roderick de Greef has joined Cambridge Heart (Bedford, Massachusetts) as CFO. Since March 2001, he has served as executive vice president, CFO and secretary of Cardiac Science, and played a key role in the recent merger of that company and Quinton Cardiology. Cambridge Heart’s Microvolt T-Wave Alternans Test is a cardiac diagnostic tool used to identify those at risk of sudden cardiac arrest.

Paul Kakis has been named vice president, sales, for Partners Imaging (Dallas). Kakis previously was director of diagnostic CT for Philips Medical Systems North America. Partners Imaging provides CT solutions for cardiovascular imaging to healthcare providers, acting as a financial, business and marketing partner to place cardiac CTs into physicians’ practices.

Walter Narajowski was named president, CEO and a director of Pathway Diagnostics (Malibu, California). He previously was vice president and general manager of Focus Diagnostics’ infectious disease reference laboratory, following a 20-year career with Abbott Laboratories. Pathway Diagnostics is a biomarker assay development company that validates patent-protected biomarkers such as Skeletal Troponin I and Dopamine receptor alleles, which demonstrate clinical utility and address unmet medical needs.
