PARIS - BT Pharma SA, which is developing novel immuno-therapeutics for HPV-related diseases and cancers, completed a new funding round in which it raised €2.8 million (US$4 million).

LONDON - Contraction continued in UK biotech as the technology commercialization company BTG plc agreed to take over Protherics plc in an all-share deal that values Protherics at £218.1 million (US$397.2 million). (BioWorld International)
