• API Healthcare (Hartford, Wisconsin) has named Daryl Joslin as its chief marketing officer. Joslin previously was acting VP of marketing for Defran Systems. API Healthcare is a healthcare-specific vendor focused on workforce management solutions for the healthcare industry.

• Matrix Medical Network (Scottsdale, Arizona) said that Kim Rosengren has joined the company as the VP of marketing. Rosengren most recently was the senior VP of healthcare marketing for Audax Health. Matrix Medical Network is a medical assessment service for Medicare Advantage plan members.

• MedClean Technologies (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) has named John Accardi as CEO. Jay Bendis was also named chairman of the board. Accardi was promoted to CEO from senior VP of business development. MedClean Technologies makes technology designed for the treatment and disposal of medical waste and the destruction of confidential documents and related media.

• NanoString Technologies (Seattle) has named Gary Riordan as VP of quality and regulatory affairs and Kathy Surace-Smith as VP and general counsel. Riordan most recently served in senior leadership roles with several privately-held diagnostic companies and as a consultant to the industry. Surace-Smith joins NanoString after serving for eight years as VP, general counsel and corporate secretary of SonoSite. NanoString Technologies is a provider of life science research tools and makes molecular diagnostics.
