MINNEAPOLIS – The annual meeting of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) is underway in the better known of Minnesota's famed Twin Cities, and the association's officials cited what they said were worrisome trends in the industry. Nadim Yared of CVRx Inc., the incoming board chairman at AdvaMed, said more than 30 percent of medical device firms are least 25 years old, which is one of the metrics that led him to conclude that there is "a graying of the U.S. med-tech industry."
