An article in the Sept. 16 issue of Medical Device Daily, "Medtronic buys into next-generation technology for deep brain stimulation," wrote that: ". . . Medtronic has said it will now shift its research and development for DBS to establish a global center on the Dutch campus in the shadow of Philips Healthcare."
Medtronic asked for us to clarify that it "is not going to shift its research and development for DBS to Eindhoven. The Dutch campus will become one of the global Neuromodulation R&D centers of Medtronic; Eindhoven is going to be an expansion of the Medtronic Neuromodulation R&D."
