Otix Global gets Nasdaq notice

Otix Global (Salt Lake City) said it has received a notice from The Nasdaq Stock Market that it is not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5450(a)(1) because the closing bid price for its common stock has been below $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive business days. In accordance with the Nasdaq Listing Rules, Otix has until April 5, 2010 to regain compliance with this rule. Should Otix's common stock close at $1.00 per share or more for at least 10 consecutive business days prior to April 5, 2010, compliance will have been achieved and the matter will be closed. This notification has no effect on the listing of Otix common stock at this time.

MDI Healthcare Solutions has new branding

Medical Partners of America (Ponte Vedra, Florida) said it has changed its name and branding to reflect its suite of healthcare solution products and services. The company will now be known as MDI Healthcare Solutions and has started the transition to the new name, which will be complete in January 2010.

MDI healthcare Solutions offers their Predictive Index, Claims Monitoring Services (CMS) and Custom Provider Network (CPN) services to self insured companies, healthcare providers, insurance companies, brokers, third party administrators as well as hospitals and providers.

Liberator Medical expands subsidiary

Liberator Medical Holdings (Stuart, Florida) reported the expansion of its wholly owned subsidiary Liberator Medical Supply. Liberator will increase its operations into an additional building and expedite hiring of previously announced jobs.

"There has been a significant increase in demand for our products and services," said Mark Libratore, founder/CEO of Liberator Medical Holdings. "We have filled our headquarters facility to capacity to keep up with this demand."

Liberator plans to lease Building 30 at Martin County Airport/Witham Field from Martin County. The building, an approximately 24K square foot facility, has been vacant since 2008. A formal public bid process for lease of the building was performed and Liberator's plan was approved by the Martin County Board of County Commissioners during their meeting on October 13.
