• Disc Dynamics (Eden Prairie, Minnesota) said that its CEO, Steven Healy, is resigning in order to assume the CEO position at Lumen Biomedical, where he is a founding board member and investor. Given Healy's resignation, Disc Dynamics named David Stassen of Split Rock Ventures as chairman of the board. Executive VP Ron Burke, a seven-year Disc Dynamics employee, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Disc Dynamics is an orthopedic spine company.

• Michael Genau was named global president, wound therapy for Kinetic Concepts (San Antonio). Genau most recently was VP/GM of GE Healthcare's Global Diagnostic X-Ray Division. Kinetic Concepts makes therapies and products for the wound care, tissue regeneration and therapeutic support system markets.
