• Michael Keenan was named CFO/VP, administration of Active Implants (AIC; Memphis, Tennessee). Most recently, Keenan was CFO and partner with Wisteria Capital Management. AIC makes the TriboFit Hip System, a next-generation bearing surface made from medical grade polycarbonate urethane.

• ArthroCare (Austin, Texas) reported that Andrew Miclot has joined ArthroCare as senior VP/GM of ArthroCare's ear, nose and throat business. Most recently, Miclot was president/CEO of Ascension Orthopedics. ArthroCare makes products based on its Coblation technology, which dissolves target tissue and minimizes damage to surrounding, healthy tissue.
