• Conifer Health Solutions (Dallas) said Lea Fourkiller was named chief compliance officer for Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions and Conifer Patient Communications. Fourkiller most recently was a regional compliance director at Tenet Healthcare where she oversaw the compliance programs at 13 hospitals. Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions and Conifer Patient Communications are operating units of Conifer Health Solutions, which provides services to more than 100 hospitals and health systems nationwide.

• Frontier Communications (Stamford, Connecticut) said Larraine Segil, a member of its board, has been named by TDR, the Special Program for Research and Training, to be a member of the Strategic Alliances Advisory Group. The program is co-sponsored by UNICEF, UNDP, the World Bank and the World Health Organization and is set up to help foster an effective global research effort on infectious diseases of poverty. Frontier Communications is a rural communications company.

James Pebbles was named interim president/CEO of QuadraMed (Reston, Virginia). Peebles has 40 years of healthcare information systems experience, including co-founding two information technology companies in the healthcare sector. QuadraMed provides healthcare IT solutions.

Didem Nisanci has been named chief of staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission (Washington). Nisanci most recently was staff director for the U.S. Senate Banking Subcommittee on Securities, Insurance, and Investment chaired by Sen. Jack Reed.
