Dave Marver was named president/CEO of Cardiac Science (Bothell, Washington). Maryer currently is the company's COO, and succeeds current CEO John Hinson, who is leaving the company for personal reasons, effective March 30. Cardiac Science makes advanced diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology devices and systems.

William Densel was named president-U.S. and chief business officer of Dune Medical Devices (Caesarea, Israel). Densel most recently was VP of marketing for the GYN surgery division of Hologic. Dune Medical makes cancer detection devices.

Douglas VanOort was named executive chairman and interim CEO of NeoGenomics (Fort Myers, Florida). VanOort is operating partner at Summer Street Capital Partners, managing director of Conundrum Capital Partners, and is a member of the board of several private-equity held companies. NeoGenomics is a clinical laboratory that specializes in cancer genetics diagnostic testing.

Jon Cohen, MD, senior advisor to New York Gov. David Paterson, will join Quest Diagnostics (Madison, New Jersey) as senior VP/chief medical officer on March 30. Quest Diagnostics provides diagnostic testing services through its network of laboratories and patient service centers, and provides interpretive consultation through its medical and scientific staff.
