• Gregory Tibbitts was named CFO of Accumetrics (San Diego). Previously, Tibbitts was CFO of CryoCor. Accumetrics makes diagnostic tests for rapid platelet function assessment.

• Doug Sweet was named VP of sales and marketing for BioImagene (Cupertino, California). Sweet previously was VP of marketing and sales for Celerus Diagnostics. BioImagene makes digital pathology solutions.

• Randy Thurman was named president/CEO and chairman of CardioNet (Conshohocken, Pennsylvania). Thurman has been serving as chairman since June 2008 and interim president/CEO since January. CardioNet is a wireless technology company focused on the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac arrhythmias.

• Jason Lusk was named VP of sales and marketing for Celerus Diagnostics (Carpinteria, California). Lusk recently was regional sales manager with Leica Microsystems. Celerus Diagnostics makes solutions to enhance the diagnostic capabilities of the pathology laboratory, provide clinicians with rapid, reliable, actionable diagnostic information, and advance patient care.
