• Under an agreement with Health Care REIT (Toledo, Ohio), Raymond Braun will no longer serve as president of the company and will resign from the board, but has agreed to provide consulting services through December. George Chapman, chairman/CEO, will assume the title of president in addition to his current role. The company also reported several management promotions. Jeffrey Miller has been promoted to executive VP of operations and will continue as general counsel. Scott Estes has been promoted to executive VP and will continue as CFO. Scott Brinker has been promoted to senior VP of underwriting and research, while Michael Stephen has been promoted to senior VP of marketing. John Thomas has joined Health Care REIT as executive VP of medical facilities. Additionally, a consulting agreement for Frederick Farrar, executive VP, has been extended to Dec. 19.
