Michael Falvey, VP/CFO of Aspect Medical Systems (Norwood, Massachusetts), has resigned effective Dec. 31, to pursue other opportunities. Until a successor is elected, Falvey's responsibilities will be assumed by J. Neal Armstrong, who served as CFO from 1996 to 2005. Aspect Medical Systems makes brain monitoring technology.

Michael Stanislawski has been named senior VP of sales and marketing at BioMedical Technology Solutions Holdings (Englewood, Colorado). Previously, Stanislawski was director of marketing for capital equipment at Patterson Dental. BioMedical Technology Solutions, a subsidiary of BioMedical Technology Solutions Holdings, makes products for the environmentally friendly disposal of biomedical waste.

Suzette Sutton has been named regional sales manager for Boston Software Systems (Sherborn, Massachusetts). Sutton will have responsibility for direct sales throughout the U.S. Previously, se was an account executive at Intellisoft Group. Boston Software Systems makes workflow automation and system integration software.

Jonathan Scheff, MD, is rejoining Health Net (Los Angeles) as chief medical officer. From 2003 to 2007, Scheff held that position at Health Net and oversaw enterprise-wide initiatives for improving clinical outcomes, and identifying and implementing best practices in processes and care management programs. Health Net's health plans and government contracts subsidiaries provide health benefits to roughly 6.7 million individuals across the country through group, individual, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and Veterans Affairs programs.

Michael Coggin has been named senior VP/chief accounting officer of LifePoint Hospitals (Brentwood, Tennessee). Previously, Coggin was senior VP/CFO for Specialty Care Services Group. LifePoint Hospitals is a hospital company focused on providing healthcare services in non-urban communities in 16 states.

William Pinon was named president/CEO of Terumo Heart (Ann Arbor, Michigan). Most recently, Pinon was CEO of Bioheart. Terumo Heart specializes in products for heart failure patients.
