Charles Orsatti has been elected to the board of directors of AngioDynamics (Queensbury, New York). AngioDynamics is a provider of medical devices used by interventional radiologists and surgeons for the minimally invasive treatment of cancer and peripheral vascular disease.

Digirad (Poway, California) reported the appointment of president/CEO Todd Clyde to its board. Clyde replaces Mark Casner, who had resigned as president/CEO and a director. Clyde joined Digirad as CFO in November 2002. Digirad makes medical diagnostic imaging systems and services to physicians' offices, hospitals and imaging centers.

George Richmond has resigned as chairman of the board of Young Innovations (St. Louis), but will continue to serve on the board as vice chairman. The board elected Alfred Brennan, who has served as the company's CEO since 2002, to the position of chairman. Young Innovations makes supplies and equipment used by dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and consumers.
