• Bausch & Lomb (Rochester, New York) has named John Brown president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and corporate VP. Also, David Edwards was named president, Asia Pacific, and corporate VP. Brown most recently was global president and CEO of Integrated Biosystems. Edwards was president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, for Johnson & Johnson's Lifescan diabetes care business. Bausch & Lomb is an eye health company.

Kevin Van Bladel has been named VP of R&D at CHF Technologies (San Ramon, California) d/b/a BioVentrix. Van Bladel was previously VP of engineering, manufacturing and quality for Aspara Medical. BioVentrix specializes in the surgical treatment of heart failure by left ventricular reconstruction, primarily through the development of less-invasive approaches, and ultimately, catheter-based procedures.

Paul Lemelin has been named inspection manager at Millstone Medical Outsourcing (Fall River, Massachusetts). Lemelin previously was quality lab manager for Kenyon Industries. Millstone is an outsource partner to orthopedic companies.

Vincent Renz was named president of NewCardio (Santa Clara, California). He previously was COO of ClinPhone. NewCardio is a cardiac diagnostic and services company.
