• Aflac Incorporated (Columbus, Georgia) said that Martin Durant III was promoted to executive VP and deputy CFO; and Susan Blanck was promoted to first senior VP of Aflac Japan. Durant joined Aflac in 1990. Blanck joined Aflac's actuarial department in 1993 in the U.S. pricing area.

• James Matas was named VP/CFO of Precyse Solutions (Wayne, Pennsylvania). Since 1999, Matas was CFO and COO of Investor Force Holdings.

• Craig Corrance was named president of Raymedica (Minneapolis). Raymedica specializes in nucleus arthroplasty.

• David Jackson, PhD, was named executive VP of Response Genetics (Los Angeles). Jackson was most recently with ThinkPanmure. Response Genetics makes diagnostic tests for cancer.
