Brad Thomas has been appointed senior VP of human resources for Cytyc (Marlborough, Massachusetts). Thomas has a background of HR leadership experience at Citigroup, Pepsi, and GE. Cytyc provides surgical and diagnostic products targeting women’s health and cancer diagnostics.

Mitchell Golbus, MD, has been named chief medical and technical officer of Diamics (Novato, California). Golbus is a professor emeritus of obstetrics and pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco. Diamics makes products for cancer screening and diagnostics.

Lynn Busteed has been appointed CEO and a member of the board of Enigma Diagnostics (Porton Down, England). Busteed joins Enigma from Focus Diagnostics, where she was VP of corporate development. Enigma specializes in the development of rapid molecular diagnostics systems.

John Frantzis was named VP of global sales and business development for NDO Surgical (Mansfield, Massachusetts). Most recently, Frantzis was VP of sales and business development at Retica. NDO is a privately held medical technology company dedicated to the development of innovative endoscopic technologies for gastrointestinal diseases.

Sandra Trakowski, RN, has been named VP of clinical product management for QuadraMed (Reston, Virginia). Trakowski joins QuadraMed from Care Fusion where she was VP of clinical products. QuadraMed makes IT solutions that leverage quality care into positive financial outcomes.
