Michael Moehring has been named VP of sales at Cayenne Medical (Scottsdale, Arizona). Cayenne is the maker of the AperFix System, designed to enable surgeons to perform a five-minute surgical procedure resulting in total repair of the ACL.

Luis Malave has been promoted to COO of Insulet (Bedford, Massachusetts). Malave has served as the company's senior VP of research, development and engineering. Insulet makes the OmniPod insulin management system, an insulin infusion system for people with diabetes.

Katherine Owen will join Stryker (Kalamazoo, Michigan) in the newly created position of VP, strategy and investor relations. Previously, Owen was a medical technologiles equity analyst at Merrill Lynch. Stryker specializes in orthopedics, with a presence in other medical specialties.

Daniel Segal has been appointed VP of sales and marketing in the cell therapy sector of ThermoGenesis (Rancho Cordova, California). ThermoGenesis makes enabling technologies for cord blood stem cell therapy and surgical wound care.

J. Roger Davis has been named CEO of Viztek (Jacksonville, Florida). Most recently, Davis was a VP for GE Healthcare/IDX Systems. Viztek is a medical software company.
