• Dolf Meewis has joined CoreValve (Irvine, California) as VP international sales. He will be headquartered in the Netherlands. CoreValve has produced a proprietary delivery system and tissue heart valve for percutaneous heart valve replacement.

Terri Bresenham has been named VP, global diagnostic ultrasound, for GE Healthcare (Waukesha, Wisconsin). Bresenham has been the general manager of GE’s global diagnostic ultrasound business since 2004. GE is a technology, media and financial services company.

Two new life sciences executives have joined Neuroptix (Acton, Massachusetts). Evan Sherr was named VP, product management, and Vincent Valvo was named VP, engineering and product development. Before their current positions, Sherr was executive director, clinical research at Cynosure, and Valvo was CEO of V Squared Computing. Neuroptix makes products for measurements of biophysical changes in the eye, including non-invasive instruments for diagnosis and monitoring Alzheimer’s disease undergoing clinical development.
