Mark Parrish has been named CEO of the Healthcare Supply Chain Services sector of Cardinal Health (Dublin, Ohio). Parrish previously was group president of Healthcare Supply Chain Services’ pharmaceutical segment for Cardinal. Cardinal Health is a provider of products and services supporting healthcare.

Larry Hanright, a specialist with more than 20 years of experience in the support of analytical X-ray systems for biological diffraction, has joined Bruker AXS (Madison, Wisconsin). Bruker is a global provider of X-ray solutions for industrial analysis, life science and advanced materials research.

Mark Funston has been named executive VP and CFO forEmdeon (Elmwood Park, New Jersey). Funston served as CFO of two public companies: Group 1 Software and Comsat RSI (formerly Radiation Systems). Funston succeeds Andrew Corbin. Emdeon said that Corbin, who was CEO of Emdeon Practice Services until its sale to Sage Software in September, would join Sage in connection with the sale. Emdeon is a provider of business, technology and information solutions for healthcare.

• MDS (Toronto), a global life sciences company, reported that Jim Garner, executive VP of finance and CFO, will be leaving MDS in April 2007. Garner will complete the current fiscal year as CFO to ensure a smooth transition.

Anthony Natale, MD, has joined the West Coast office of Prism VentureWorks (Westwood, Massachusetts/ Santa Monica, California) as a venture partner. Prism VentureWorks is a venture capital firm with investments in life sciences, digital living and IT infrastructure. Natale was formerly a venture partner with MDS Capital.
