• Brigid Makes has been appointed CFO of AGA Medical (Golden Valley Minnesota). Most recently, Makes was an executive with Nektar Therapeutics. AGA develops devices to treat structural heart defects.

• Gemma Rosello has been named executive vice president of operations of Continucare (Miami). Rosello had previously served Continucare as senior vice president of operations. Continucare provides primary care physician services on an outpatient basis in Florida.

• Joseph Flies, DBA, was appointed vice president of operations for Del Medical Systems Group (Franklin Park, Illinois). Previously, Flies was president of Summit Industries. Del Medical makes diagnostic imaging systems for medical, dental and veterinary applications.

• Kevin Hassey has resigned as president of LCA-Vision (Cincinnati). Hassey joined the company in August 2003. LCA-Vision provides laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus brand.
