Patrick Boughey has been named president and general manager of Cigna HealthCare 's (Bloomfield, Connecticut) operations in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Boughey most recently served as a senior sales leader for Cigna HealthCare. Cigna HealthCare provides medical benefits plans, dental coverage, behavioral health coverage, pharmacy benefits and products and services that integrate and analyze information to support consumerism and health advocacy.

• DST Health Solutions (Birmingham, Alabama) has appointed three healthcare information technology veterans: Dr. Robert Thompson as vice president of sales, marketing and account management, Rob Kennedy as vice president for information technology, and Joey White as officer for strategic investment and research development. DST Health Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of DST Systems, delivers applications and outsourcing services that help health plans, TPAs and physician practices improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, increase speed to market and improve customer service and care management.

Three medical technology executives will join the Hill-Rom unit of Hillenbrand Industries (Batesville, Indiana) over the next week. Michael Grippo will assume the role of vice president, corporate business development, strategy and market research; Blair (Andy) Rieth Jr. will become vice president, investor relations and global brand development; and Abel Ang is vice president, international business and technology development. Grippo joins Hillenbrand from Suntrust Robinson Humphrey Capital Markets, where he was director and head of the healthcare group practice. Rieth is an investor relations and communications executive from Guidant with previous sales, product management and business development experience at Eli Lilly. Ang headed the medical technology and biotechnology group at the Singapore Economic Development Board. Hill-Rom is a manufacturer of a broad line of equipment for the healthcare industry and a provider of associated services for wound, pulmonary and circulatory care. It also is a provider of medical equipment outsourcing and asset management services.

Carsten Boess has joined Insulet (Bedford, Massachusetts) as CFO. Prior to joining Insulet, Boess served on the executive management team for Serono, where he managed 85 employees in the finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations functions. Insulet, a diabetes management company, manufactures the OmniPod Insulin Management System, a new product for the treatment of diabetes that combines continuous insulin delivery and blood glucose monitoring.

Declan Daly will assume the role of CFO of Isolagen (Exton, Pennsylvania) and oversee the company's European operations. Daly has just concluded 7.5 years of service to Inamed and most recently served as CFO. In addition, the company named Steven Trider senior vice president, the Americas (sales and marketing) and global business development. Trider also comes to Isolagen from Inamed where he served as vice president of global marketing since 2004. Isolagen is developing autologous cellular therapies for soft and hard tissue regeneration.
