• Dorothy Cipolla has resigned as CFO and secretary of LaserSight (Orlando, Florida) to pursue another opportunity. LaserSight has named Vice President of Finance and Treasurer Zhaokai “Art“ Tang interim CFO and secretary. Tang joined LaserSight in 2005, from several financial management positions in China. LaserSight is a supplier of technology solutions for laser vision correction and develops precision microspot scanning technology.

• O. Edwin French has been elected president and CEO of MedCath (Charlotte, North Carolina), a national provider of cardiovascular care. Prior to joining MedCath, French served as president, of the Acute Care Hospital Division of Universal Health Services. He also served as president of French Healthcare Consulting.

• Steven Murphy has been promoted to CFO of Natus Medical (San Carlos, California). Murphy joined Natus in 2002 and has served as vice president, finance and principal financial officer since June 2003. Natus is a provider of products for the detection, treatment and monitoring of common disorders in newborns and children. Through its Bio-logic Systems subsidiary, it develops computer-based electrodiagnostic systems and related disposables that aid in the diagnosis of audiological conditions, as well as certain neurological and sleep disorders.

• Pavel Holik has been named director of European sales for Zonda (Moraga, California), a portfolio investment of CLX Investment Co. specializing in test products that serve the medical diagnostic and other testing markets. Holik previously served as product manager and business analyst for AccuPoll.
