• Jinsheng (Jimmy) Li, PhD, MD, has joined Medeikon (Ewing, New Jersey) as senior medical scientist. From 2000-2005, Li was the vascular physiology staff scientist at the American Cardiovascular Research Institute. Medeikon makes devices for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, with an initial emphasis on vulnerable plaque.

• Peter Pellerito has been appointed president and CEO of ONI Medical Systems (Wilmington, Massachusetts). Pellerito previously served as vice president and general manager for the GE Healthcare Ultrasound business. ONI Medical Systems makes the only high-field, 1.0 Tesla MRI system for extremity imaging.

• Peter Hsu has joined SonoSite (Bothell, Washington) as managing director of Northeast Asia with responsibility for sales and service operations in China/Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. Most recently, Hsu was senior director of strategic market development for Philips Medical Systems' cardiac and monitoring systems. SonoSite is a provider of hand-carried ultrasound.
