Nasdaq denies Applied Imaging appeal
Applied Imaging (San Jose, California) said that Nasdaq has denied its appeal of a staff determination that the company failed to comply with the stockholders' equity requirement for continued listing.
As a result, Applied Imaging's securities were withdrawn from the Nasdaq Capital Market effective with the opening of business Wednesday. The company has 15 days from Jan. 23 to request a review of the panel's decision; it said it is considering this option.
Applied Imaging is a supplier of automated imaging and image analysis systems for detecting and characterizing chromosomes and molecular markers in genetics and pathology applications.
