GeneData is a bioinformatics company focused on functional genomics. The company specializes in high-throughput technologies such as genome sequencing mRNA expression profiling, protein expression profiling, metabolic profiling and screening.

The company’s Phylosopher product is a fully integrated system that analyzes gene and protein function based on comparative genomics to identify and characterize potential target proteins. Its Expressionist product is an industrial-scale system for the analysis of microarray gene expression data. The Impressionist product is a protein expression product. Metabolist provides a quantitative analysis of metabolites and Screener provides an analysis of screening data for lead generation and validation.

GeneData also offers services in consulting and training for data analysis and database systems development for customization using its database application technology, GD CoBi. Complementing GeneData's integrated bioinformatics platform, the GD WorkBench provides access to a large collection of public and proprietary databases and analysis tools through a web-based user interface.
