Overview

Formed in 1999, IntegriDerm focuses on genomic research and drug discovery, with a therapeutic focus on skin and the gastrointestinal tract. The company's interests include the application of genomic research in dermatology, discovery of novel active ingredients for use in skin care products, such as skin lighteners and hair growth regulators, and producing skin care products for consumers.

The company's technology includes DermArray and PharmaArray DNA microarrays. These arrays contain about 4,400 sequence-validated human cDNAs from selected genes of interest in dermatologic and epithelial research, providing information in the areas of dermatology, pharmacology, toxicology and oncology. IntegriDerm has an NIH grant to create a DNA array to facilitate gastrointestinal research.
