ImmuDyne Inc. said Wednesday it acquired MDH Laboratories, aCincinnati-based manufacturing facility with experience in yeasttechnology and carbohydrate chemistry.Terms of the acquisition include a $75,000 cash payment, between100,000 and 200,000 shares of stock trading at about $1 per share, acommitment to provide $100,000 in new equipment and anemployment contract for MDH employees, James Wood, chairman andchief executive officer of Houston-based ImmuDyne, told BioWorld.MDH is a FDA- and Good Manufacturing Practices-approved facility.ImmuDyne expects the acquisition will lead to accurate and efficientmanufacturing of various Nayad and other glucan products. Wood saidImmuDyne now is assured of a continuous supply and a controlledcost.
