DNA Plant Technology Corp. (DNAP) announced last week thatit has completed the acquisition of DuPont's share of theirpremium fruit and vegetable joint venture FreshWorld.

Under the agreement, announced in November, DNAP ofCinnamonson, N.J., will sell its 28 percent minority ownershipinterest in InterMountain Canola Co. (another joint venturewith DuPont), 2 million shares of its stock and 2,750 shares ofnon-dividend paying preferred stock convertible into 2.75million shares of DNAP common stock. DuPont also will receivenon-exclusive rights to certain DNAP (NASDAQ:DNAP)technology for use in select crops and approximately $1.5million from the sale of certain assets.
