McMahon was director ofmolecular oncology at the Sandoz Research Institute and Hayeswas patent attorney for Berlex Biosciences, a division of BerlexLaboratories.

Alpha-Beta Technology Inc. of Worcester, Mass., has appointedPaul Bleicher director of clinical affairs and Parrish Galliherdirector of manufacturing development. Bleicher wasdepartment director of the Early Phase Services Department atParexel International Corp.; Galliher was director of processengineering at Biogen Inc.
