DNA Plant Technology Corp. (DNAP) said that its environmentaldiagnostics unit, Quantix Systems, is introducing a new versionof its biotechnology-based portable workstation, whichprovides rapid, on-site detection of contamination in waterfrom diesel fuel, kerosene, home fuel oil and jet fuel.

DNAP of Cinnaminson, N.J., said the workstation had previouslydetected these contaminants only in soil. A new version of theQuantix LabStation can now detect petroleum contaminants inwater and soil samples, DNAP said.
