Alza Corp. of Palo Alto, Calif., appointed Gary Neil president andchief executive officer of the newly formed TherapeuticDiscovery Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alza. Neil wasexecutive vice president of American Home Products'subsidiary Wyeth-Ayerst Research.

Stephen Livesey was named chief scientific officer and adirector of LifeCell Corp. of The Woodlands, Texas. Livesy is aco-founder of LifeCell's initial technology and has been ascientific adviser to the company since its founding.
