As part of its biosimilar education efforts, the FDA Thursday released "FDA Overview of Biosimilar Products," an online continuing education course for health care professionals. The 90-minute CDERLearn course is designed to help health care providers make informed decisions when considering, prescribing or dispensing biosimilars. It also provides a general review of the agency's science-based process for biosimilar product development programs.
