• Michael Cannizaro has been named as president/CEO and vice chairman of Sunrise Medical (Carlsbad, California). Previously he was operating partner at J.W. Childs Associates. Sunrise develops products for the recovery, rehabilitation, and mobility needs of people in institutional and homecare settings.

• Mary Ellen Harrison has been named VP of business development for Sensei (Boca Raton, Florida). Previously she was executive VP of global strategy and business development for a joint venture company funded by Oracle Corporation and Alcate. Sensei develops mobile and web-based solutions for diabetes, hypertension, smoking, cardiovascular risk, stress and asthma.
