MEDICIS ACQUIRES SYOSSET

Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp. of New York said Tuesday itagreed to acquire the assets of Syosset Laboratories Co. Inc.Terms weren't disclosed.

Syosset supplied Medicis with generic Retin-A, which is underFDA review for marketing approval, and four otherdermatological products.
