• IsoRay (Richland, Washington) said that director Dwight Babcock has been appointed chairman of the board and will also be Interim CEO, following the resignation of Roger Girard, who has been chairman/CEO since July 2005. IsoRay is a medical isotope company focusing on the treatment of prostate and other malignant diseases through use of its radioisotope technology.

Kevin Krumm was named CFO of Minnetronix (St. Paul, Minnesota). Most recently, Krumm was VP of finance for Ecolab’s healthcare division. Minnetronix is an outsourcing company specializing in electronics-based medical devices.

Scott Chesky was named VP of strategic development for InfuSystem Holdings (New York). Chesky previously was a VP within the investment banking group at FTN Midwest Securities. InfuSystem provides external ambulatory infusion pump services to doctors and their patients for home use.

Chris McAuliffe was named VP of field operations for Paradigm Spine (New York). McAuliffe joined the company in 2006 as director of technical services and professional education. Paradigm Spine makes posterior non-fusion spinal implant solutions.

Deborah Williams has joined the Premier (Charlotte, North Carolina) healthcare alliance as senior director of supplier diversity. Previously, Williams was director of contracting and value analysis for Mills-Peninsula. Owned by not-for-profit hospitals, Premier operates a series of healthcare purchasing networks.

Peter Julien, MD, was named chief medical officer of Radlink (Redondo Beach, California). Julien is currently director of thoracic imaging at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center. Radlink is a software and hardware company that provides medical imaging systems to healthcare providers.

• SpineVision (San Francisco) said that it has named James Coyle as VP of U.S. sales. Coyle was most recently western sales director for AOI Medical. SpineVision is exclusively focused on bringing innovative motion preservation and fusion devices to spine specialists around the world.

Girish Hagan was named VP of marketing for Toshiba America Medical Systems (Tustin, California). Previously, Hagan was director of business development and strategic management for Toshiba. Toshiba America Medical Systems makes diagnostic imaging systems.

Mitchell Dann has been named chairman and interim CEO of Urologix (Minneapolis). Concurrently, the board accepted the resignation of Fred Parks as CEO/chairman. Dann is a co-founder of the company and served on the board from 1991-2005. The company said it has begun the process of searching for a new CEO. Urologix makes medical products to treat urological disorders.
