Stemcells Inc., of Newark, Calif., presented data showing that two years after transplantation of its purified human neural stem cells into patients with Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease (PMD), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suggested myelination was more pronounced than at one year post-transplantation.
