• The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA; Washington) has appointed Charlotte Collins as director of public policy & advocacy. Collins previously was an associate professor in the George Washington University’s School of Public Health and Health Services. AAFA is an organization for people with asthma and allergies.

• Jon Serbousek has been named president of Biomet (Warsaw, Indiana). Most recently, Serbousek was VP and GM of Biologics. Biomet’s manufactures reconstructive products, including orthopedic joint replacement devices, bone cements and accessories.
