Stephen Bauer, MD, was elected to serve as the 31st president of the College of American Pathologists (CAP; Northfield, Illinois). Most recently, Bauer was the College's president-elect, and was previously a member of the CAP Board of Governors. The College of American Pathologists is a medical society serving more than 17,000 physician members and the laboratory community throughout the world.

• Creekridge Capital (Minneapolis) said it has added three program managers to support existing and new vendor relationships. Mary Carsen, a five year leasing veteran with Creekridge, will assume the duties of program manager for a number of large healthcare vendor relationships. Susan Vik, a 12-year leasing veteran, will support the Creekridge outside sales teams in the development and management of several healthcare and technology programs. Lindsay Brown spent 5 years at Fidelity National Capital where she served as account manager in the support of Fidelity's sales organization. Creekridge Capital is an independent healthcare vendor leasing company.

• Serica Technologies (Medford, Massachusetts) said that Joseph Darling and Scott Coleridge have joined the Serica board. Darling is currently president of ConMed Linvatec. Coleridge most recently was CEO of Synthon Chiragenics and executive VP, FEI Women's Health. Serica Technologies is a medical device company focused on the development of silk-based biomaterial platforms for use in tissue repair.
