Sterling Tech Software gets ISO certification

SterlingTech Software (Rochelle Park, New Jersey), a maker of custom software solutions for the medical device industry, said that it has received ISO 13485 Certification.

ISO 13485 is an internationally recognized quality standard for the design, development, production and sale of medical devices. To be certified, organizations must demonstrate an ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. The certification process was expedited via a technology grant SterlingTech received last year from the State of New Jersey.

TriHealix changes name to TransEngen

TriHealix (Norwalk, Connecticut) has reported a name change and new brand identity. The company says the new name, TransEngen, affirms its commitment to lead the transformation of the healthcare payments process into the next generation.

"The re-branding is to better reflect who we are today – a company that provides a ground breaking, intelligent transaction-based engine with significant implications for the healthcare industry," said President/CEO Greg Morris.
