Accelrys, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pharmacopeia Inc., delivers informatics and computational software and services to accelerate design, discovery and development of pharmaceuticals, chemicals and materials.

The company offers collections of bioinformatics sequencing software, graphical interface tools, gene prediction software, data updating tools and fragment assembly software. Its chemoinformatics software suites manage chemical structure information, property information and biological data. The Life Sciences Simulations products provide tools for drug-effect simulations and drug discovery. In addition to its off-the shelf products, Accelrys offers custom software design services.
